What is a Regional/Affinity Group Connector?
Regional Connectors are available to support your congregation and ministry leaders by connecting them with denominational resources so you can thrive in the ministry God has given you. Each of our connectors serve a region of the CRCNA. In addition, our Affinity Group Connectors are the point people for our Hispanic, Korean, and youth/young adult members.
What region or affinity group do you serve?
I serve Hispanic churches within the denomination.
How did you come into your role?
I came into my role by applying for a hybrid position that combined customer service through Faith Alive and communications. I’ve always had a passion for Hispanic ministries, and I feel blessed every time I get to help a ministry thrive. I prayed for God to open doors so I could serve Him as a church connector through this role—and He answered.
In what area of ministry are you most passionate about encouraging and equipping congregations?
I am most passionate about helping Hispanic pastors feel connected and supported within the denomination. When I find the right connection or resource for a specific need, it’s incredibly rewarding to provide that help. I enjoy letting pastors know that we are here for them, strengthening their bond with the denomination. It's important to me that they feel encouraged and equipped to continue their vital work.
