What is a Regional/Affinity Group Connector?
Regional Connectors are available to support your congregation and ministry leaders by connecting them with denominational resources so you can thrive in the ministry God has given you. Each of our connectors serve a region of the CRCNA. In addition, our Affinity Group Connectors are the point people for our Hispanic, Korean, and youth/young adult members.
What region or affinity group do you serve?
I serve the Eastern USA region of the CRCNA - Classes Atlantic Northeast, Hudson, Hackensack and Southeast - which is made up of urban, suburban, and rural congregations committed to spreading the gospel and demonstrating Christ's love. These churches are involved in youth programs, neighborhood events, and offering support to immigrants. CRCNA churches in the Eastern USA region focus on creating spaces where people can build relationships, feel welcomed, and grow in faith.
How did you come into your role?
I came into this role through my position with Resonate Global Mission, where I have the privilege of working alongside regional leaders. My background in marketing, public relations, and administrative support has shaped my passion for connecting people with the resources they need. I’m grateful for the chance to equip and encourage churches, supporting the work God is doing through them. It’s a blessing to be part of the CRCNA’s mission in the Eastern USA.
In what area of ministry are you most passionate about encouraging and equipping congregations?
I believe that when churches have the right resources and support, they can strengthen their ministries and really make a difference in their communities. Whether it’s through youth programs, neighborhood events, or offering support to families in need, these efforts help build strong connections and reflect Christ’s love. It’s inspiring to witness churches grow in their ability to reach both believers and the unchurched.
