When people hear “ReFrame Ministries,” they usually think of the Today daily devotional. But we are so much more than that! Since ReFrame is the CRCNA’s media ministry, we have the opportunity to share the gospel in creative ways and tell stories of faith around the world. One of the things that sets us apart from many other media ministries is that we share the gospel from a Reformed perspective, and every resource is contextualized for the culture and region where it is used.

Take our French ministry in West Africa, for example. It is made up of seven ministry centers spread across four countries, with a team of 23. Together, this small but dedicated team produces radio dramas, Bible studies, and other resources that speak directly to the realities of everyday life in their communities. Every script, broadcast, and conversation is designed to help listeners wrestle with local challenges while staying grounded in Reformed theology.

3 Things You Might Not Know About ReFrame Ministries

1. We use every tool we can get our hands on.

ReFrame started out with radio, which led to print. These days, you will find content produced by our ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers on online platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and podcasts. And yes, we still mail printed devotionals to people who prefer them. Technology changes all the time, but our mission does not: helping people hear God’s Word in ways that make sense in their daily lives.

2. Our teams may be small, but they reach far.

ReFrame partners with 25 ministry centers that give us a physical presence in 53 countries, through staff, volunteers, and local stations. And our reach goes even further online, with a web presence in 183 countries. In some places, our ‘team’ is just one pastor, producer, or volunteer with a microphone or laptop. Even so, the resources they create in the world’s most major languages are reaching thousands of people with encouragement and hope.

3. We are partners in the same mission.

ReFrame is a global ministry, but our roots are right here in the CRCNA. The stories we tell and the media we produce are meant to complement the work you are doing in your ministry. Together, we are working toward the same goal of sharing the gospel and equipping the church near and far.
