Building Relationship with Our Non-Human Kin – Sheep and Wool: On-the-Land Learning

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, participants are invited to a day of On-the-Land Learning at New Moon Community Homestead in Ailsa Craig, Ontario.
Hosted by Kenny Wallace, this gathering explores relationships with creation through the care of animals, textiles, food, and ceremony.
Participants will learn about the history and meaning of sheep and wool within Indigenous contexts while engaging biblical themes of stewardship and care.
The day will include a guided farm tour, hands-on participation in caring for sheep and working with wool, and preparing a shared meal over the fire. Participants will also take part in a Standing Stones Ceremony and close the day with a blessing for the farm.
Space is limited to 15 participants.
