On Saturday, June 27, participants are invited to return to New Moon Community Homestead for another On-the-Land Learning gathering focused on Indigenous teachings about relationships with animals.

Hosted by Kenny Wallace, this day will explore the sacred practice of hide tanning and the responsibilities that come with living in respectful relationship with animals and the land.

Participants will learn about traditional hide tanning as a practice of renewal and gratitude, take part in hands-on learning, and reflect on biblical teachings related to stewardship and care for creation. The gathering will also include a guided farm tour, preparing a shared meal over the fire, and participating in a Standing Stones Ceremony.

Space is limited to 15 participants.
