Safe Church Classis Coordinator Grant

The role of a Safe Church Coordinator is fundamental to the success of a Safe Church team. Providing a stipend for this role recognizes the work and energy of those leading safe church teams. We would like to support this endeavor by offering the Classis Safe Church Coordinator Grant as a means of establishing this key role within a classis, and for classes that have coordinators already, adding a stipend to this role helps the transition of a new person stepping into the role. 

What is a Safe Church Coordinator Grant?

The office of Safe Church Ministry is offering “seed money” (up to $1,500), that can be used to pay an annual stipend to a Safe Church Coordinator of clasis, should the classis wish to establish this position with an annual stipend. The expectation is that the classis would maintain the stipend for the position in the years to follow.

To fund this initiative, we have created the Classis Safe Church Coordinator Fund. All of these funds will go directly to a classis and can be used to help establish the Safe Church Coordinator position. We now have two ways to give to Safe Church. One is to donate to the Safe Church general fund. The other is to donate to our Classis Coordinator fund.
