God With Us.  As Synod begins in the coming days, we are grateful for the many reminders of God's presence with us, through us, in us, and among us. During worship, this artwork will be featured on our slides to guide us visually and encourage our worship. We want to introduce to the artist, Hope McIntosh!

Hope McIntosh is a senior student at Trinity Christian College. She is studying Studio Art with a minor is Christian Ministry. She grew up in Kansas City where the art scene influenced her own style with the murals and graffiti art around the city. Currently in Chicago, she experiments with different mediums such as painting, printmaking, sketching, and concepts. Hope loves to see how her faith is revealed through her art.

Description of the art piece:

The plant print resembles the steadiness of God in our lives. A plant sways in the wind through whatever weather. Back and forth it moves with a slight breeze or a mighty storm. Back and forth it sways through darkness or through light. The circumstances do not change the truth of the plant. The plant is steady and constant. The plant print captures the truth of our walk with Christ. Christ does not leave or forsake us. He is constant. He is steady.

Thank you to Hope for sharing her gifts with us!  To see more of her work, check out her website.
