I attended several funerals recently of seniors who had been leaders and path setters in their churches and communities.

Reflecting on all the people in my life who are now with God in Glory, I realise that listening and hearing their life experiences help form my future role as an 'aging' elder. At 35 (I'm 66 now) I was advised by a wise elder to participate in homebound communion. Before and after communion I listened to seniors share their life-experiences in Christ and how they faced their soon to be short futures.

From that 30 plus years ago start I now can understand HOW God's Grace brings Peace.
