A resource library developed by Resonate Global Mission missionary Dave Gifford is now available for Spanish-speaking pastors and ministry leaders in the Christian Reformed Church in North America.
For 20 years, Gifford, who serves in Mexico, has been providing resources for pastors and other ministry leaders to help meet a pressing need he saw in his ministry.
“Many good Christian insights on the Bible, Christian thought, Christian living, and ministry are only in English, often hidden in long dense texts. Even when they have been translated, many pastors and seminarians here can't afford them,” said Gifford.
Wanting to increase access to resources for the students, pastors, and other leaders whom Gifford worked with, he started providing free materials in Spanish, through searchable indexes online. Now, he wants to share them with Spanish-speaking leaders in the CRCNA. The resources can be found at https://giffmex.org/b/ and https://giffmex.org/b/giffmex.2025.html.
Resources focus on topics including:
While originally created for ministry leaders in Mexico, Resonate ministry leaders hope that these resource libraries will be helpful for Spanish-speaking ministry leaders serving throughout the CRCNA.
“Resonate missionaries are embedded in the local places where we serve. They hold cultural expertise that helps us shape resources that we believe can serve beyond their immediate contexts. As the CRC becomes increasingly diverse, we are committed to sharing our expertise and resources to better serve the church in North America. The Giffmex resources are something that we believe can serve Spanish-speaking leaders wherever they are,” said Joyce Suh, Resonate’s Director of Global Mission.
