Taking a Moment to Thank Pastors, Church Staff, and Volunteers

This past week I was talking to my mother-in-law about how church online was going. She filled me in on the tremendous amount of work that her pastor and other church members have been doing. She talked about the gift of online Bible studies, Zoom conversations with people she doesn't usually connect with, and special worship opportunities (check out this beautiful quartet of How Great Thou Art). 

As I thought about this, I was humbled by the "above and beyond" ways that pastors, church staff, and volunteers have served their churches these past few months. By the gifts being shared in the name of Jesus. By the learning and adapting being done by everyone. 

I wonder: Might a heartfelt note be one small way to show your appreciation?
