Financial Shalom is a CRCNA program designed to improve the financial well-being of all the CRCNA’s pastors. The program provides grants to help pastors meet immediate needs and training, tools, and resources to strengthen the financial education of pastors and churches.

If money is a stressor with the holiday season upon us and the pandemic raging, you aren’t alone. Here are some resources towards your financial well-being to consider:

  1. Bivocational Growth Fellowship: If you are an ordained pastor in the CRCNA who is engaged in or considering bivocational ministry, we are launching a new program to support you. This year-long program will provide financial assistance, training resources, and goal development support. Learn more and apply by December 4th!

  2. Webinar on ‘Recovering Your Finances’: On December 7th at 12 EST, Financial Shalom will host a webinar on Recovering Your Finances. Presented by LSS Financial Counseling, this will be a free webinar specifically for CRCNA pastors and staff. Q&A will follow the hour-long presentation. Please register if you plan to attend (here).

  3. Free Financial Counseling: CRCNA pastor or seminarians can receive up to six free(!), confidential sessions with LSS Financial Counseling. With special expertise in empowering faith leaders, LSS can help you clarify your financial situation and determine your best next steps. It’s a seriously good benefit (here)!

  4. Grants for CRCNA Pastors: The deadline to apply for our student loan relief and critical financial need grants is January 15th. CRCNA pastors can learn more and apply for these grants on the Financial Shalom website (here).

  5. COVID-19 Church Engagement Fund: Does your church need help meeting budget due to pandemic-related losses? Or perhaps you have more than enough to share? We are still accepting applications (and donations) to CRCNA’s relief fund (here).

Please share this with your colleagues in ministry. And contact us via [email protected] anytime you’d like to talk about your or your church’s situation and learn more about what Financial Shalom can offer you.
