Online Course: Spirituality of Henri Nouwen

I have been given a Sabbatical by my council and congregation, and as part of it I am enrolled in a three-credit course through Tyndale Seminary in Toronto on the "Spirituality of Henri Nouwen." The course is taught by Dr. Wil Hernandez who has written a three-volume analysis of Nouwen's "Spirituality of Imperfection." As part of the course requirements I need to write a weekly blog about the things I have learned through the readings and discussions that week. I plan to do that here so that members of my council and congregation can follow along and learn with me as well as fellow pastors and members of the CRC who might be interested. The course begins May 5 and runs through July.

I look forward to engaging in some good discussion and spiritual growth through this time of study and reflection.
