The Temple Curtain is especially appropriate during Lent and Easter. Written for children 8 to 14 years old, it intertwines the story of a fictional Palestinian family with  events of the Bible including the Passover celebration, Jesus' death and resurrection, Pentecost, the ascension and new Christians fleeing Jerusalem.

A local pastor wrote this: "We used this at our church for a children's  Lent devotion and it was well-received. Great resource that is imaginative, historically accurate."
