A Story Hour Kid Becomes Coffee Break Staff

Gillian Ferwerda introduced herself a “Story Hour kid.” Gillian grew up surrounded by the cornfields of southeastern Michigan. Her family attended an Evangelical Free Church that hosted Coffee Break. While Gillian’s mom went to Coffee Break, Gillian went to Story Hour. 

Gillian remembers making bookmarks and other crafts. She loved her Story Hour Teachers. In fact, she stayed in contact with her leaders through high school. Others have noted that Gillian has strong Bible knowledge and a deep love for the Word. Gillian wonders if the roots for her passion for God's word were planted in Story Hour. 

We are so thankful to have Gillian on our team as an administrative assistant for Raise Up Global Ministries and Coffee Break.
