Exporting Bible Discovery

Coffee Break groups are sprouting up all over the world. You can find Coffee Break in more than 20 countries from Indonesia to Australia!
The largest challenge of this global expansion is keeping up with translations! In order to address this problem we have done two exciting things. First, we have teamed up with Timothy Leadership Training Institute. TLTI has experience and a long history of translating materials. Our partnership enables us to utilize their expertise and translation process.
Second, we have developed an “DYB Export Series.” The export series is a set of six Discover Your Bible studies that make up a basic curriculum. This set of studies supports the evangelistic and discipleship focus of Coffee Break small groups. Our goal is to translate the whole set of materials into new languages. The set includes:
How can you help? The approximate cost to translate one set of DYB into Spanish, Chinese, or Swahili is $12,000. When you purchase any Discover Your Bible study, the funds go to support the ministry! Second, consider taking an offering to support a translation. Brookfield Coffee Break in Wisconsin supported the Hindi translation of Discover Nehemiah. It is now being widely used in India. Third, maybe someone in your group might be interested in giving a larger gift to make this work happen more quickly.
Finally, pray for this work. Paul says, in Col 4: 8-9, “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.” The Discover Your Bible materials provide tools for regular people like you and me to make God’s message clear.
