You probably weren’t planning on covering chemoreceptors in your summer church program, but maybe you should! This lesson is part of a great new children’s curriculum called Wild Wonder that focuses on God’s creation and our response to care for it.
Components
Wild Wonder was created for elementary-age children by A Rocha, a Christian conservation organization that works to help Christians better understand our role in God’s creation and our responsibilities to help it flourish.

Besides being well written, inviting, and theologically sound, Wild Wonder includes great music and is age appropriate. Year One of four planned years of curriculum is available now as a digital download.
Unique Approach
While the traditional approach to VBS is high-energy and heavily dependent on props and “extras,” in Wild Wonder the emphasis is on spiritual formation using a quieter, more contemplative approach.
If you’re looking for a VBS curriculum this year, or you want to do something different that your usual Sunday children’s programming, consider Wild Wonder.
