I saw this Christianity Today article and thought I would pass it along to you as a guide for prayer in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We pray to God Almighty to hear and answer the prayers of his people. We pray with a sense of urgency but assurance that God is with us and we are not alone. As Daniel prayed in Daniel 9, "We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act!"

We pray additionally for those in authority. May God give them wisdom, health and stamina to endure during these challenging times. We pray and thank God for our churches and ministries, pastors and staff, missionaries, chaplains, denominational directors and staff. We pray for the church universal as we stand together as one in his love and power. We pray for family members and those who have not received Christ's salvation.

May God have mercy.
