Paul faced opposition in Philippi with those who put him in prison. He faced opposition from those who preached for their own gain. But Paul's perspective is what we pray:

"But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice."

Use this prayer guide to pray that Christ is preached, regardless of whether it is from our weakness, from our false motives, or from selfish ambition.

This prayer guide was used at Synod 2022 and will be used at the virtual CRC Prayer Gathering on July 13. Feel free to use it with your church staff, church leadership, elders, and deacons, as we pray that Christ is preached.
