Prayer Guide for Trusting the Church to God from Psalm 127:1-2

We often think that we have to build God's church for him. Now none of us would actually say that, but often that's how we go about our daily tasks.  Solomon wrote in Psalm 127 that, "unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."  

This prayer guide leads us to remember that it is God's church, leads us to confess that sometimes we try to build it for him, and prompts us to ask that we learn to trust that God is working even when we may not see what God is doing.

This prayer guide was originally used for a CRC prayer time. Feel free to use it with your church staff, church leadership, elders, and deacons, as we pray to be dependent upon God for his leading for his church.
