In my opinion, the Belgic Confession is massively underrated in our Reformed churches today. It is the oldest of our “3 Forms of Unity” and provides a relatively brief yet incredibly deep and rich summary of the key teachings of Reformed Theology.

Despite its doctrinal nature, the Belgic Confession is beautifully written. And the language is enhanced to highlight the poetic beauty of the prose and its ideas when the typeset is stylized in the way that the CRCNA website has done.

Great as a beginner class to Reformed theology or a re-embrace of our classic, orthodox Reformed teachings, the Belgic Confession is worth your time to sit down, read, and rediscover with a small group in your church.

And please, share this resource with others in your church.

This incredible confession is worthy of our time because it proclaims clearly and in detail the beauty of Christ’s gospel!
