The Bill as I understand it: 
-Maintained current Tax income brackets . 
-Increased the standard deduction and estate gift tax exemptions
-Created a new $1,000  deduction  for cash charitable gifts for non-itemizers ($2,000 for joint filers),
-Offered A bonus $6,000 deduction for seniors ($12,000 for joint filers), 
-Began new tax credit for cash contributions to scholarship-granting nonprofits.
