Hello Network Community!
Last year I was struck by Jesus' words at the triumphal entry in Luke 19:40 that if his disciples kept quiet, the stones would cry out. Moved by this I decided to try my hand at making a song/call to worship based on the triumphal entry. After examining the passages from the gospels on the triumphant entry, I decided it would be appropriate to include the passages from Psalm 118 in the song and so I ended up with a sung call to worship based on the triumphal entry as recounted in the gospels and Psalm 118. We introduced it in the Palm Sunday service at our church last year.
As we are coming around to Palm Sunday again, I thought I would be so bold as to share it with the Network community in case anyone was looking for Palm Sunday resources or ideas. I have attached the arrangement and a rough recording of it from 2015's Palm Sunday service to outline how the vocal parts go (the recording is quite rough, so please be forgiving). I am 100% open to improvements, collaborations and/or feedback.
