I have lots of favorites. But a NEW favorite for me is "Psalm 46" by Bifrost Arts: https://open.spotify.com/track/6XyN7Ps4VpGJbZm716VNgD?si=0c77757191714d00. Psalm 46 has been a real comfort and bringer of peace for me. This song uses those words and the music seems beautiful to me. I especially love the chorus, "Be still and know that I am God." I already was saying that often, now I sing it, too.

i've really been enjoying the songs by CityAlight lately.  Ancient of Days is a beautiful one, and one we just sang in church last Sunday:  Yet not I but Christ In Me - lyrics so rich, and music that's easy and hymn-like.   Makes it more fun to introduce new music to a congregation that frets because we don't sing enough hymns!  ;-).   But like Mavis, lots of favourites, both Getty / new hymn styles, and others from Hillsong/Bethel/Elevation, though the latter with more discernment.  (more discernment for possible use in church than personal listening, because some songs that I just enjoy listening to wouldn't be so singable in my church setting.).  Goodness of God is surely one of my favs in this genre.

I enjoy Sovereign Grace music.  I found them when Covid shut down churches and we had to go 100% online and Sovereign Grace gave permission for churches to use their music in their livestream for free until a certain date.

This week our Worship Pastor is introducting a new song of theirs: How Great (Psalm 145)

How Great (Psalm 145)

"Psalm 136" (Give Thanks to The Lord) from All Sons and Daughters has become a staple in our worship sets. Also, "Great I Am" by Leslie Jordan (the daughter in All Sons and Daughters) -- it's a lovely stripped back tune with a special sweetness to it; just released last month. And "Same God" from Elevation Worship (although we cut out part of the bridge since our congregation doesn't do well with seven minute tunes. "Goodness of God" always reminds everyone of what we tend to forget in these trying times.

My favourite is The Goodness of God by CeCe Winans.  I have known Jesus almost as long as I can remember, but I learned I was born handicapped when I turned 50.  This song summaries my Walk so well!
