Interesting article! I heard Forrest Frank's "Thankful" song a few months ago and loved it. After voting in the U.S. primary election this week, Frank's "Thankful" song was the song I had chosen to accompany my post with my picture wearing the, "I voted" sticker and the words, "I'm thankful for voting rights." I loved it and so did many people on Instagram and Facebook. I pray for others (young and old) to be moved and blessed by Frank's words and the work of the Spirit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful, insightful blog.

Rev. Angela Taylor Perry is one of the most encouraging women of God I've met. Your journey models what it means to walk by faith leaning on the Lord. Your inner strength, peace and joy exudes in person and even on Zoom. Keep on keeping on for the sake of God's kingdom! 

Thank you for your many years of volunteering in advocacy and justice work. I appreciate your thoughts about what motivated you to keep going - do what we can to bring about change and leave the results to God.
