Jim Halstead has served as an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) and the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) and has retired from the CRC with pastor emeritus status on July 19 2020. He has been a special education teacher in Indiana for ten years and he retired from the East Allen County Schools (Southwick Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana) on May 21 2021.
