I am so touched to hear your story, the Lord carries us during those times! Unfortunately the system you refer too exists here too depending on your financial state! I am facing many health issues and cannot receive all the care I need because of our system of insurance! You were Fortunate to have the care you needed and that makes me thankful!
As a disabled person, I too question expertise of advocates and those that throw their opinions out on a subject that they may think they are informed! Until you experience the affects of what a major disability, it’s hard to really understand what we go through! I am still thankful that they try but I pray they really listen to the disabled on the issues that affect them. Unfortunately, there are lay people and experts assuming they know what is best for us! I was guilty of that before becoming disabled. A lot of life has to be experienced to have a real understanding.
Doug, the best qualification on this issue is being disabled yourself! You can advocate for something without being the writer of the law! You just have to understand the issue in a intimate way.
Although I can’t say I wouldn’t want to be well again I see the Lord much more clearly being under duress! I have come to be at peace but only with the Lords help and it goes and comes as my disease progresses! But you have to go through a lot of mental and spiritual gymnastics and remember Gods promises! Thx
Actually before the vaccine, there were a average of 100 to 200 deaths per yr, plus 10k to 15 k hospital stays! Even now there are still some of both! Thx
