Worship leaders are awesome! We said it at Synod 2018, and we mean it.

Worship Ministries is mandated to encourage the church in vibrant worship. That may mean many different things in different places. We continue to listen and learn from worship leaders in the local church, but we are a small office and we know we don’t have all of the expertise, nor can we be everywhere and do everything. The truth is, there are many worship practitioners and experts in the local church with a desire to share what they know with others.

So we are beginning a new endeavor to bring the help, support, and training to the local church. Worship Ministries is offering a list of recommended Endorsed Coaches. These coaches will be geographically located throughout the U.S. and Canada, with most coming from within the Christian Reformed church.

Each Endorsed Coach has specific areas of expertise in regards to worship. Attached to this post you will find our current list of Endorsed Coaches. You'll find information, pictures, and a description of gifted areas for each one. If your church would be interested in receiving training or coaching from one of these coaches, please contact them. You can also email us for more information at [email protected].

Generally, each coach is gifted in these areas, with their own specific experience and gifts:

  • Worship planning
  • Blending traditions/styles of liturgy and music
  • Worship leading
  • The Sacraments

Worship Ministries has a desire to support the local church in all of its beautiful diversity. If you are interested in becoming an Endorsed Coach, please fill out the attached application and return it to us. We are excited about this new opportunity for significant training, connecting, and learning. We encourage you to spread the word!
