Is your church or a group of churches in your community considering an ESL ministry in your neighborhood or community? If you have willing volunteers that would like training in teaching ESL I would like to walk with them through it.
I am a retired CRC Missionary to Latin America. I lived and worked for nearly 10 years in Mexico, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. I have a BA in Education from Calvin. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish in three countries including Spanish at Calvin College and ESL at Oakdale Park CRC in Grand Rapids.
I will lead online classes and/or travel to your location and walk with you through the whole process of opening a Bridge of Love Language Study Center. I can combine that with Spanish lessons and on site learning trips.
My language teaching experiences are with varied language speakers, although I only speak English and Spanish. I have had experience teaching several language groups. I have taught ESL to Vietnamese Chinese, Korean, Mexican, Dominican, and Brazilian students.
