Praying for Our Muslim Neighbor in Light of COVID-19

I visited an Islamic Center just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit with full force. Already people were abstaining from shaking hands and feeling the effects of early efforts to social distance. It was clear that this was difficult for our Muslim friends who feel that physical contact is an important part of their religion and fellowship.
As the pandemic situation has become more severe, we have all been forced to focus on social distancing and many of us are experiencing our Christian worship and fellowship online. We have had to focus on our own spiritual communities and ensure that we are all cared for during these difficult days.
In the midst of these challenges, let's not forget our Muslim neighbors who will soon enter into their very special month of Ramadan. One of the traditions of this month is to gather nightly in the mosque to recite from the Quran, have memorization contexts for the youth, and break the fast together. This is a great time to extend a caring note to our Muslim friends and to also pray for our Muslim neighbors.
One guide that is increasingly popular to guide our prayers is the 30 Days of Prayer guide. Find the link below.
