The Role of a Disability Advocate during COVID-19

We appreciate the role of our Church Advocates and Regional Advocates so much during this pandemic. Thank you to all our advocates for your ongoing support of our church community during this especially challenging time.

We have developed a sample script for checking in with church members—with and without disabilities—who may be among the compromised health population in your church/neighborhood or who are without any of the regular supports and services they depend on, especially if they're on their own or moderately independent. Use this as a guideline (in PDF format below), and adapt any of the three steps outlined as necessary.
