Israel’s Only Savior

But now, this is what the Lord says—

    he who created you, Jacob,

    he who formed you, Israel:

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;

    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

When you pass through the waters,

    I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,

    they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,

    you will not be burned;

    the flames will not set you ablaze.

For I am the Lord your God,

    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

I give Egypt for your ransom,

    Cush and Seba in your stead.

This acrylic painting is by artist Reyna Garcia. 

This piece is inspired by a verse where the celestial voice is manifested in every word; this expression interweaves the relationship between God and the human being.

God’s hand is perfectly aligned to our lives. 

Between movements reveal the environment of need for faith so God manifests in our lives.

The Holy Spirit iluminates the work as a symbol of hope to redeems the vulnerability of the humans.

At the same time, the colorful strokes serve as the foundation to explore the strength of the soul to open up to the opportunity to trust in that celestial being that always keeps His promise of love.
