The U.S. Navy held a retirement ceremony for Tom Walcott on April 21, 2022 in Washington, D.C. Friends, family and some fellow chaplains were present for the commemoration.

During his tenure, Chaplain Walcott significantly grew the Chaplain support ministry, adding 7 new Navy chaplains and dozens of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The Chaplaincy Care Ministry is thankful for Tom’s leadership and ministry to Coast Guard members during his more than 28 years of selfless service in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps. 14 of those years were serving in the Coast Guard.
