Reports of Ministries and Educational Institutions 2021

This year marks the second consecutive year in the history of the Christian Reformed Church that its annual synod had to be canceled. Typically, synod addresses a very full and complex agenda, including annual reports of the CRC’s ministries and educational institutions.

Because of the cancellation of synod, the Program Committee of Synod (officers of Synod 2019) reviewed the Deferred Agenda for Synod 2020, the Agenda for Synod 2021, and its Supplement and decided which matters should be placed on the agenda of a special meeting of the Council of Delegates (COD), meeting on behalf of Synod 2021 in June. In addition, the Program Committee decided which matters should be deferred to Synod 2022.

You can read coverage about the special meeting of the COD at crcna.org/cod-2021, where you can also find which items from the agendas for Synods 2020 and 2021 are being deferred until 2022.

A third category of the matters in the 2021 agenda that was not dealt with in June, nor has been deferred to 2022, is the annual reports of the CRC’s ministries and educational institutions. We have compiled these into a booklet, Reports of Ministries and Educational Institutions 2021, that provides evidence of how God is blessing the work and ministry of the CRC. Please take time to read these encouraging reports and share in our gratitude to God for using the CRC to build his kingdom.

Because synod was unable to meet, we suggest that you show the following video segments during a church offering, as a ministry highlight during an educational class, or during the fall classis meeting.
