Did you know that Coffee Break Ministry will be celebrating 50 years in 2020? We are thrilled at how God has been blessing this ministry since it began in 1970. Now two generations have come to know Jesus through this evangelistic Bible study.
Around the world, men and women have learned to study the Bible themselves, and lead others to know and to walk with Jesus. Materials are available in Korean and Spanish, and we’re working towards translation into other languages. God has been so faithful and we want to invite you to celebrate with us.
We are planning to provide something called "Conference in a Box." This resource will include details and ideas for how you might plan a celebration in your area sometime in the next year. We'd love to see churches come together and celebrate. Events might include a time of sharing stories of God's faithfulness, both in the past, present, and future.
If you'd like to host an event in your area, please contact Marian Lensink at [email protected]. Let's plan the party!
Are you inclined to bring a gift to the party? As we look to the next 50 years of ministry, please consider a gift towards translations of materials. In North America, we are blessed with abundance. Your gift will encourage believers in other countries, giving them access to materials in their own languages. To make a 50th anniversary donation, click here.
P.S. Your Voice is Needed! Big birthdays are a great time to remember, reflect, and re-imagine. Our Coffee Break/Discover Your Bible staff is meeting in early January to pray, listen, and dream about the next 50 years. Your input is essential. Would you please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey? Your thoughts and ideas will give shape to our visioning conversations! Thank you so much.
