Reviewing the 2026 CRCNA USA Giving and Worship Attendance Report: Attendance

The Advancement Department of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) recently conducted a brief, five-question survey of CRC Churches in the USA. Focusing on a comparison of giving and worship attendance between 2024 and 2025, this survey was designed to capture a snapshot of what churches are experiencing. A total of 158 US CRC churches completed the survey.  The data collected from this survey were compared to the results of an identical survey conducted by Horizons Stewardship.  You can find and review our report “Findings on CRC Giving and Worship Attendance” HERE. 

Here are some interesting observations I found while reviewing the data. Note that this is an informational and non-scientific survey and not representative of all CRCNA Churches and contexts. 

 • 43.3% of churches reported that attendance was about the same from ’24- ’25. 

• Another 43.3% of churches indicated an increase in attendance over the same period.

• CRC attendance is more stable in comparison to the national average in most regions 

• Decline in attendance in the CRC is less than the national average.

Nearly 87% of churches are stable or growing! In a time when we often hear about declining attendance in churches. There are MANY churches in the CRCNA who are stable and growing. And CRCNA Churches are more stable than other churches surveyed in the USA.
