Back to School Worship Roundtables

The long and lazy days of summer will come quickly to an end. We hope you are enjoying these months of rest, travel and hopefully some fun! As you start to think about fall and "back to school", here are two worship roundtable opportunities. 

• Back to School Roundtable: Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. EST on zoom. Some churches do a "blessing of the backpacks" or a school send off for their children of all ages. Many churches commission their ministry staff like Sunday school teachers, Children in worship leaders, and Bible study leaders. Come brainstorm some new ways to do "back to school" this fall. Come with ideas, leave with ideas!
• More with Less Roundtable: Thursday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. EST on zoom. The start of the church year means volunteer recruitment. We know this was a source of a lot of frustration for many of you this past spring. How might we be able to do "more with less" and decrease our volunteer load? Are there ways to simplify where needed? Has anyone tried a fall ministry fair to kick off the season? How might we set ourselves up well for sustainable and healthy volunteering this year. Come with ideas, leave with ideas!
