Just wanted to let everyone know that the Christian Song Competition, along with Praise Charts, has announced the 25 finalists in its annual competition. I'd never heard of this particular contest before, but I saw a message from PraiseCharts announcing the finalists. Voting is open to the public right now, but I'm not sure when it closes.
Competitions like this can be important to up-and-coming songwriters, so I encourage you all to take a listen and share the songs you like. Also, they're offering a copy of the submitted recording and a chord chart for free. It might be a while before any of these songs gets recorded again and released through the customary outlets, so this will probably be the only chance to get a recording until then (though it may not be a studio-quality master).
