@FNF How can a pastor practically transition a church from a consumer mindset to a servant mindset without causing frustration or resistance among long-time members?
One question I still have is about your point on the historical shift in meaning of authentein. If the word was already starting to develop more neutral or positive meanings around Paul’s time, how can we confidently determine which sense Paul intended in 1 Timothy 2:12 rather than assuming the earlier negative meaning should dominate?
Subway Surfers City initiative beautifully demonstrates how shared prayer can unite believers across different communities while keeping our focus on God’s faithfulness and guidance for the future of the church.
In working with churches, what is the biggest challenge in helping believers understand and fully practice Among Us "sanctity of life," not only in the context of unborn children but also people with disabilities and at the end of life?
How will churches be supported in moving beyond translated resources to actually reshaping leadership structures, decision-making, and worship practices so that intercultural voices are not just included, but genuinely influential?
I find this model inspiring, but I also wonder if it applies to smaller churches with limited resources. Perhaps a more specific sharing of the initial challenges is needed so that other churches can learn more effectively. That's Not My Neighbor
From a missionary perspective, I agree with Steal Brainrot Game that the mission is not just about telling stories of growth and success, but also about daring to let the suffering of our brothers and sisters touch and change the way we pray, hope, and act.
@Geometry Dash It’s inspiring to see how Groundwork has grown over 15 years while staying true to its mission of teaching God’s Word — a wonderful example of faith, dedication, and the power of modern media used for good.
Personally, I find Poly Track idea of creating a network of churches on campuses to provide students and faculty with a space for honest discussion and community development very encouraging. It is both encyclopedic in introducing history and models, and practical in sharing the author's personal experiences in various environments.
How have you seen small groups adapt the Discover Your Bible method in diverse cultural contexts, and what unique challenges or opportunities does that bring for discipleship and evangelism?
It's a meaningful way to unite pastors across multiple classes, fostering spiritual encouragement and a shared commitment to seeking God’s guidance throughout the ministry year.
