Jonathan Wilson
I work for the CRC's Communication office as the Online Community and Content Manager. The majority of my role will be right here on The Network with some work with The Banner and social media in general. So I guess my role is to highlight CRCNA content FTW (Facebook, Twitter and Web). I grew up in Chicago, IL (Go Bears) and but now live in West Michigan. My wife Kelley and I have two children: Javen (6) and Kendall (3).
My favorite colors are red and blue and orange

Creative Commons is a great resource. The majority of the images used for the blogs on The Network are Creative Commons licensed images. As Mavis suggests. if you are using images in your ministry areas, Creative Commons images and content are very useful.

Hello my name is Jonathan and I am the Community and Content Manager for The Network. While reading some recent comments we want to remind all of our Network users about our Comment Guidelines. Please take a moment to take a look at them and remember to please make sure your comments are "friendly and polite in tone and language, even when you strongly disagree."
Thank you for participating on The Network.

Thanks Mavis and Nathan for the suggestions. I just wanted to add that if anyone is thinking about using Google Apps for their church, Mavis wrote an article about How to Start Using Google Apps on the Chruch and Web Network. Check it out.
Posted in: Is there a good location to post jobs within the CRC network?
Rachel,
The Network website does not have a designated spot for a posting such as this. However, I believe the Banner magazine accepts classified ads if you want to investigate that route.

Stanley,
Did you see this thread:
Should ministers (who are essentially "paid employees" of the church) chair council meetings or be members of the council? It still may not have answered your specific question. I just wanted you to be aware of it, which you may already have been.

Posted in: How can the church most effectively meet the pastoral care needs in the congregation?
Wendy,
Thank you for posting this question. Our Elder's Network Guide Neil de Koning has written a response just for you Wendy. Don't you feel special :-). Actually his blog post is for all our benefit, but Neil still is:
"hoping that some people would respond by sharing their models of pastoral care. Maybe they still will."
So to Wendy and everyone check out Neil's post, but also feel free to share your leadership structures with us.
