We are excited to share information about the ELIM program—a CRC orientation for pastors affiliating with the CRCNA via either Article 8 or 23 (Ministers of the Word or Commissioned Pastors). This eight day event is patterned after the well received KIM (Korean Institute in Ministry) and is in the English Language. Ethnic minority pastors will be in the majority, yet majority culture pastors are also welcome.
The event runs Sept 11-20, 2019 and will be held in Grand Rapids, MI. NOTE: this is a date change from the earlier announced date of Sept. 9-18! Lodging, ground transportation, and all meals are included in the $400/per person fee (other travel costs are left to participant. Worth noting is that many classes will cover the registration and travel costs of the event for affiliating pastors in their classis. Participants should arrive on Sept 11 by 5:00 p.m., and depart no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on Sept 20.
For more information or to express interest, please contact David Koll ([email protected]) or Charles Kim ([email protected]). This event is a joint project of the Candidacy office and Resonate Global Mission. Classis is a key partner in the affiliation process for new pastors, and we ask that you distribute this invitation within your classis in whatever way you feel is helpful! (Keep in mind the registration deadline of August 9, 2019 although last minute additions can be made up to August 30)
