Say hello to Victoria, our Communications Coordinator Canada! The Network took a moment to sit down with Victoria and learn more about her work with the communications team at the CRCNA.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day always includes responding to requests from CRCNA staff and members. Staff might be promoting a resource of event and so I'll help by sharing the word. Churches might reach out about a video for an offering or a needed resource. By the end of the day I might have written a bulletin announcement, edited a video, or created a graphic.
What are you most passionate about in terms of serving and equipping congregations?
I'm passionate about making sure that our communications with churches are clear, timely, and helpful. I love sharing glimpses of what God is up to through the stewarding of ministries shares and the ministry happening in local churches.
What is one thing you've learned while working at the CRCNA?
I've learned how amazingly vast the resources and ministries of the CRCNA are. I'm grateful for the ways that we're participating in sharing the good news and being a part of the renewal of all things.
What is your favorite thing about your job? Any fun or engaging memories or experiences?
I love getting to speak with churches doing great ministry and sharing their stories. I once got to meet a 104 year old CRC member. She prays the Lord's prayer every day.
