Say hello to Anita, our Communications Assistant for the CRC!  Anita is based in Canada and has been working for the CRC since 2014, when she first heard about the role in a bulletin announcement. She is one of the front-line worked for the denomination, responding to questions and inquiries related to communications. Let's take a moment to learn more about how Anita supports the ministry of CRC churches across the US and Canada.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I answer emails, compile reports, help update info on the website and social media, and answer questions on the website's chat system.

What is one thing you've learned while working at the CRCNA?

Denominational staff really care about the flourishing of churches and about sharing the gospel around the world.

What are you most passionate about in terms of serving and equipping congregations?

I love helping churches to find the many resources available to them for the work of ministry.

What is your favorite thing about your job? Any fun or engaging memories or experiences?

I love the people I interact with - both co-workers and church staff - and I enjoy the variety of work each day. While we work hard, CRCNA staff also take time to connect well and be a strong team; I love our potlucks once or twice a year.

Thanks so much for sharing, Anita! If you are interested in learning more about the work of the CRC communications team, head over to CRC News, where the latest news from the denomination is posted.
