What is your role at the CRCNA? How did you come to your position?

My name is Gloria, and I'm an administrative coordinator at Thrive, the CRCNA's congregational ministry support agency. I was seeking a job last spring, and the Lord lined things up in an incredible way that I found out about and eventually got this position.

What does a typical day look like for you?
The details of my work can vary widely, so I don't necessarily have a "typical" day. Some of the things that I often work on are things like event logistics, providing administrative support for different groups that we hold, and learning about different tools and resources that we use so that we can use them more effectively.

What is one thing you've learned while working at the CRCNA?

I don't come from a CRC background and began working here shortly after first joining a CRC church, so I have learned a lot about what it means to be CRC! It's been wonderful to dig into the theology while being embraced by the community.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

I love the people here!

What are you most passionate about in terms of serving and equipping congregations?

I'm very passionate about helping others to love their neighbors well - whether that's the people in their family, their church, their community, or anyone else, and seeking relationship in that.
