Check out the new Church Jobs board for yourself!

We’re excited to share that The Network Church Jobs Board has been fully redesigned to make it easier for churches, ministries, and candidates to connect with one another. Our goal was simple: create a space that is more accessible, more informative, and more useful for churches and ministries across the CRCNA.

What’s New?

1. More categories — and clearer ones
When posting a job, you’ll now notice several new fields. Please take the time to fill out every category. The more detail you provide, the more easily candidates can understand your ministry context and determine whether the role could be a good fit. These categories also help us make the job board more searchable on the candidate side.

2. Required information to support both churches and candidates
To improve transparency and help candidates discern quickly, job posts now require:

  • Time expectations (full-time, part-time, hours/week)
  • Salary or salary range (and hourly pay rate for hourly positions)
  • Whether the position is open to both male and female candidates

These fields ensure clarity for everyone involved and help churches connect with the right applicants.

3. Free and fully supported by the denomination
As part of the Network's commitment to offering high-quality ministry resources at no additional cost, the job board remains completely free to use. To keep it mission-focused, we do not allow posts from outside agencies or consulting firms. We post open positions from churches and ministries within and connected to the denomination, as well as denominations and ministry organizations that we are in communion and cooperation with. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to [email protected]

4. Automatic three-month posting & archiving
All job posts are now automatically published for three months. After that, the post will be archived to keep the job board fresh, up-to-date, and accurate. If your hiring process needs more time, simply email [email protected]. We can help extend your listing.

5. New recommendations for clearer communication
We strongly encourage churches to upload PDF copies of their church profile and a full job description in addition to the text included in the post. These documents give candidates deeper insight and help them get a fuller picture of your ministry, mission, and expectations.

6. Improved searchability. The redesigned job board includes a much more powerful enhanced search feature. Candidates can now filter openings by the type of position, location, full-time/part-time status, and other role-specific criteria. This upgraded tool helps applicants zero in on positions that match their skills, experience, and location preferences. Check it out to see how it works - and let us know if there's something you'd like to change in future updates.

7. I don't see the job I posted 8 months ago!
We are still in the process of updating the old job posts to the new format. We have to do this manually, and it requires some sleuthing, so it takes some time. All jobs posted within the last 6 months are up-to-date. Given that we typically post jobs for 3 months, we will not update your job post if we don't know if your position is still open. If your position is still open: Please go into your account and update your post! Email [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.

And Yes, People Really Do See Your Job Post

The job board receives around 10,000 views each month, and the Network Weekly newsletter includes a curated list of job postings from the previous two weeks. Rest assured: your listing is getting seen.

Questions?

If you run into any issues or have questions about posting, reach out anytime at [email protected]. We’re here to help and look forward to helping candidates and churches find each other.
