We all know that congregations grow and change, reflecting the dynamic needs and hopes of their communities. Over the past year, we’ve witnessed how various CRCNA congregations across North America have responded, innovated, and thrived through Gather.

Gather has brought together a richly diverse community of people and churches throughout North America, fostering an environment of shared learning, encouragement, and spiritual growth. These gatherings provide an opportunity to connect with one another, hear inspiring stories, and exchange ideas about building God’s kingdom in meaningful ways throughout the CRCNA. Of course, not everyone can attend large-scale events like Gather, but that doesn’t mean important and beautiful work isn’t happening in every corner of our community.

So, I’d like to ask: How has your church evolved over the past few years, months, or even weeks? If you’re a church leader, what changes have you observed as your congregation has adapted to new challenges and opportunities? If you’re a church member, in what ways have you felt the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit leading your church in these times? Share your stories in the comments below. We look forward to hearing how God is moving among us, shaping us, and calling us forward together.
