Hello friends,
I’m writing to share an encouraging update about CRC ministries. As a member or regular attender of a local Christian Reformed Church, you often hear about projects and ministries your church is involved in. Today, I want to share a story you may not have heard yet.
F Street Neighborhood Church
On the corner of F Street and 13th in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska a church building hums with new life. F Street Neighborhood Church, a congregation of about 150 people, is witnessing remarkable transformation.
Pastor Jeff Heerspink often says what makes this church remarkable isn’t its size, but the way God is drawing together people who may never have imagined themselves worshiping side by side.
Baptisms are a regular joy at F Street. Some who come forward have experienced homelessness, addiction, or deep trauma. Others are returning after a long season of spiritual searching. “Each story reminds us,” Heerspink shares, “that God is still in the business of resurrection.”
Equipping leaders has long been part of F Street’s DNA. In nearly 12 years of ministry, they have hosted 13 ministry residents preparing for service in youth ministry, church planting, and media production—four of whom now serve on staff.
This year, Thrive—the congregational support ministry of the CRCNA—is focusing on church renewal, equipping congregations like F Street to prayerfully discern what God may be calling them to in the years ahead.
Thank you for your faithful partnership in strengthening churches and equipping congregations for renewal!

Other ways you can give to support church ministry
Did you know that cash isn’t always the most effective way to give? Gifts of stock, real estate, or other non-cash assets may increase your ministry impact while also providing significant tax benefits.
