In the heart of Jersey City, New Jersey Covenant Christian Reformed Church gathers each week as a community of about 80 believers. Over the past couple of years, Pastor John Sideco has witnessed quiet but profound transformation.
“What has transformed us most deeply,” he shares, “is the simple practice of reading Scripture together.”
In small groups, members bring real-life questions about work, relationships, doubt, and purpose into open-Bible discussions. “We’re learning that the Word meets us where we are,” Sideco explains. “It’s not just information—it’s formation.”
