It’s not hard for me to see some of reasons for our denomination decline after reading these comments! It makes me sad that we can’t agree on much! It’s depressing to see this supposed respect for opinions of other people when most just want theirs to be the right one! This subject is important but our approach is leading to no action for any group! I concentrate on what I can do for the Lord that’s within my capabilities and accessible. I don’t agree with everything our church does but I still try to support God’s purpose and kingdom!
Sorry for distress Miriam on the results of peoples reaction to your disability. I am disabled too with MS and etc! I have heard about everything from people when they refer to my condition but have learned to let it roll off my back! They don’t and probably can’t understand unless they experience something like it! I wouldn’t have known before I got sick! It’s their issue so it doesn’t bother me much anymore! I let it go with Gods help! Everyone who is disabled has to figure their own way of dealing with this issue. Thx and God bless you.
I support we women in church office by treating them the same as the men, with respect and a helping hand if they ask! My wife is a Deacon and it’s a important role to play! Thx
Hi Irene, Good post on help with making our churches safe for everyone! I think streaming worship that show children would be ok only because most of the danger comes from within the church body. Protecting our children when they are with others without the parents around has the most potential for problems! Either way would be fine in my opinion! Thx and God bless you!
Good post Sam! I would like to add to it by saying that our goals should include results like attaining a more full filling prayer life or understanding scripture in a more intimate way. We need to set out a result goal along with the steps to get there is what I am getting at! Both go together! Thx and God bless you!
Thanks Michele, for bearing your soul about your battle and victory in Living with suffering! It is inspiring and give me added strength to keep pushing through my suffering! I have found the same thing in my suffering, the Lord is our only source of hope and peace! The suffering is like putting glasses on someone with poor vision and now can see the real truths how he wants us to live. Thx, hang in there my friend!
Hi Dan, I thank the Lord for everything! I thank the Lord is now giving us alternatives to accomplish the same thing that are better for our environment He created! The Lord provides for us in every Way through our history! It’s a blessing for sure!
