I work for the CRC's Communication office as the Online Community and Content Manager. The majority of my role will be right here on The Network with some work with The Banner and social media in general. So I guess my role is to highlight CRCNA content FTW (Facebook, Twitter and Web). I grew up in Chicago, IL (Go Bears) and but now live in West Michigan. My wife Kelley and I have two children: Javen (6) and Kendall (3).
My favorite colors are red and blue and orange

Jerod,
To your point about posting the same information several times a day... is there concern with overkill especially if the tweet or fb post is more directed to church members (i.e church potluck this Sunday afternoon at 3). If the church sent out an e-mail reminder about the same event I think doing that more than once would be too much. Would the same advice apply to social media as it does to e-mail.

I really like this one:
Titus
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. (3:5)

Jerod have you noticed that when you post links on your Facebook page depending on the image FB will crop the ends of some images that appear on the post?

Thank you to everyone on The Network. The Network is a great community and great place to share, connect, and learn from each other. Without the community The Network would not be possible. I also want to give a special thanks to the guides who provide the blogs. Thank you for volunteering your time and talent to our church community.

Simon,
Thanks for you comments about CRC liturgy. Would you consider sharing more on your 30+ years of Christian experience on myCRC.
I would love to hear your responses to a number of the questions and I think it would be great for us/others to hear. You can find the questions at http://network.crcna.org/mycrc
