On November 1, join with your church to participate in World Hunger Sunday. The theme for 2020 is Every Table. Food insecurity and scarcity is real for families around the world, all made worse by the outbreak of COVID-19 over the last year.
World Renew is committed to helping families and communities fill their tables by learning to grow food sustainably, saving resources to face future crises, and providing emergency response when violence or disaster rob them of food and table altogether. Your prayers, participation, and gifts to the World Hunger Campaign make this work possible.
World Renew is grateful to be able to help your congregation, whether gathered in person or virtually, remember World Hunger Sunday by offering this complete recorded Worship Service for you to use in place of or in addition to your own! We have released the full service for previewing on YouTube: World Hunger Service. It will also be live on Facebook on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 11:30 AM EST. Sign up for the Facebook Live HERE.
The following resources are available to guide your service planning and reflection to help your congregation participate in the stories of those who have faced hunger and whose tables World Renew is helping to fill.
Join World Renew online for a NEW World Hunger Devotional Experience where we gather together at the table to share the World Hunger adult devotional. We will meet each day for 15 minutes from Oct. 19 to Oct. 30 at 12 EDT. Sign up for this Devotional experience.
